Our little Easter bunny

Last Easter, Derek and I were happily the egg-hunters (I mean, even adults like to get candy out of plastic eggs). Fast forward to this year and our little Easter bunny knew exactly what to do with eggs and a basket! Logan ran to each brightly colored egg and put it right into his basket. As a matter of fact, he loved it so much that we had pretend Easter egg hunts for the next week after Easter.

Easter started at our house with the traditional bunny cake. This tradition started with my Grandmother and this year my Mom made the cake to carry on the tradition with Logan. It
really warms my heart to know that we have traditions already started. Next, the Easter

Bunny visited our house and off Logan went. It was so fun to watch him spot the egg and then race over to it, as if there were competition. While Logan was outside, his baskets were set up inside. Grandma and Grandpa Aswell came thru with the best items: Bubbles and a toy dog!

Next we went to Derek's parents house where Logan hunted eggs with 6 other children. My in-laws are troopers as they filled over 280 eggs with candy! It was fun to watch all of the children race around to find where the Easter Bunny had hidden all of those eggs! Luckily Logan and his cousin, who is very close to his age, had their own part of the yard to hunt their eggs. They had plenty of time casually walk over to each egg and carefully place it in their basket. It was so cute to watch both of them! Grandma and Grandpa Deckard got Logan all ready for baseball season. He received a Yankee's baseball cap that looks just like Derek's and an Astro's shirt to help me root on my favorite team! Now it's time to take Logan to his first baseball game.

Below are some pictures from Logan's Easter adventures. As you will see, we had to put a trail of Easter eggs leading into the house to get Logan in from outside so that he could see his Easter baskets.
