New discovery...we can venture out of the house after 6pm!

It's that time of year...Cool Thursday's at the Arboretum! This is basically a concert in the park series with a great view of White Rock Lake. So, while Dustin and Kristi were visiting this week, we headed to enjoy some live music and a picnic dinner.

I was honestly worried how Logan would do considering his bedtime is 6:30 and the concert did not start until 7:30. Our little sweet-pea did excellent! While he did not fall asleep, he did smile and enjoy the music with the rest of us. He was so happy and content. It was amazing! Then, when we got home, he fell right to sleep in his crib and woke up smiling the next morning.

Not only was this nice because we got to enjoy the concert, but it was great because we now know we can leave the house after 6pm. No joke, we have been home by 6pm everyday for about the last 3 months. While it has been our pleasure to follow Logan's routine, it is nice to know that we can venture outside of our home after 6pm and Logan will still be his usual happy, smiling self. Yeah!

I am sure all of you experienced parents out there are laughing at me right now, but probably also understand how these discoveries can change your life. :)
